CGS Wet Electrostatic Precipitators

WESP (WET ELECTROSTATIC PRECIPITATOR)

Electrostatic Precipitation Technology has been used successfully for many decades. It has made possible the capturing of sub-micron particles without the need for a Venturi type Scrubber which requires very high pressure drop. A Wet Electrostatic Precipitator utilizes liquid sprays to wash down the collected dust particles from the collector surface. What sets CG-WESP apart from other conventional WESP designs is our unique Hexagonal Grid type Collector with wide open design, rigid electrodes, and vertical counter current action. CG-WESP offers the maximum collector area (SCA) and the most power intensity level and, hence, the most efficient performance.

Here is how CGS' Hexagonal Tube Collector design compares with some of the conventional type designs:

CG-WESP ... YOUR BEST CHOICE !!

Efficiency of a Wet Electrostatic Precipitator increases with increase in Specific Collector Area, "SCA," normally indicated as square feet per 1000 saturated ACFM of gas flow. The other major contributing factor is Corona Power normally indicated as Watts per ACFM. These curves indicate how a higher power level can provide a higher efficiency. CG-WESP offers the highest "SCA" and Power Intensity levels available, and achieves the most efficient performance. CLEARLY A WINNER!
